Sydney has loved animals for as long as she can remember—so much so that while other kids were playing doctor, she was pretending to be a veterinarian (and even admits to drinking from the dog bowl as a child!). Her veterinary journey began in spay and neuter medicine, where her passion for the field quickly took root.

Eager to expand her knowledge, Sydney transitioned into small animal practice and began working toward her veterinary technician license in 2024. Since then, she has gained experience in urgent care settings to deepen her understanding of emergency medicine. Her particular interests include surgery, veterinary dentistry, and phlebotomy. She thrives in an environment where she’s constantly learning and appreciates that veterinary medicine is always evolving.

Sydney credits her work in veterinary medicine with bringing her purpose and happiness, saying it has “saved her life and made her brain happy.” She feels incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by supportive coworkers and talented veterinarians, and she truly couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

Before entering the veterinary field, Sydney studied human medicine and played soccer competitively for over 17 years, a time she’s deeply grateful for and which shaped much of her resilience and teamwork. In her free time, she enjoys playing bingo, spending time with her three beloved cats, Paloma, Tuna, and Friar Tuck, and cheering on her favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles. Her cat, Paloma, even sports her own Jalen Hurts jersey on game days to match Sydney.
